This Symposium will:
- Present best-practice case studies of Australia-China school partnerships;
- Acknowledge existing engagement between Australian and Chinese schools stakeholders and seed new, meaningful connections;
- Showcase Australian expertise and excellence in international
education that enhances our capacity to engage with Chinese schools
sector stakeholders; and
- Celebrate people-to-people experiences in Australia and in China as a catalyst for life-long connections.
IEAA is now seeking session proposals for this event. We’re
interested in hearing about best practice examples of Australia-China
school partnerships across curriculum design and delivery; sister
school, state and city partnerships; student mobility and virtual
mobility programs, languages education, intercultural learning and
global citizenships; and schools leadership and professional
development. It is envisaged that sessions within the Symposium will:
- Be between 30 mins (minimum) and 60 minutes (maximum) duration.
Please include the proposed duration of your session within your
proposal.
- Be presented by a minimum of two and a maximum of four presenters.
IEAA seeks balanced and diverse panels, with representation from both
Australia and China.
Session proposals will be accepted until 25 February 2024.
If you have any
questions about the Symposium, or about the session proposal process,
please contact IEAA’s Research Manager, Dr Kirrilee Hughes.
