The IEAA Young Professionals Network supports up-and-coming staff in international education looking to accelerate their careers. This is your chance to strengthen connections, collaborate, and be a leader in our thriving community. Plus, it's a lot of fun!
IEAA Young Professionals Co-Chairs engage with their state network, other chapter leaders, and the IEAA Secretariat to share ideas, provide meaningful development opportunities and bring young professionals together.
The role of a Co-Chair is to work with the IEAA Secretariat to lead state events for their chapter.
This may include:
- Managing content program and recommending presenters for each event
- Sourcing an appropriate venue for each event (within an approved budget)
- Attending each event (where possible) and playing an ‘MC' role
Pre- and post-event promotion on social media either through personal or IEAA channels
- Ensuring events in each state are topical and of interest to YPs in their chapter
One Co-Chair position is open for each chapter: ACT, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.
Co-Chairs are appointed by the IEAA Secretariat through a formal expression of interest process. Terms run across a calendar year, with Co-Chairs appointed in December of each year, to commence two-year positions on 1 January.
Expressions of interest close Sunday 30 November 2025. Fill out the form here.
