Hon Phil Honeywood, IEAA-SF

Chief Executive Officer
International Education Association of Australia

Phil has been IEAA's Chief Executive Officer since November 2011. Previously, he was a Member of the Victorian State Parliament (1988–2006), Minister for Tertiary Education, Training and Multicultural Affairs (1996–1999) and Deputy Leader of the Opposition (2002–2006). Since retiring from politics, Phil worked at Stott’s Business College and Cambridge International College. Phil is the Chairman of the Roundtable of International Education Peak Body CEOs and a member of the Tuition Protection Service Board. Phil is also a Board member of the Bennelong Philanthropic Foundation and the Bangarra Group Board.

Justin Barnes possesses a unique expertise in fostering meaningful connections and cultivating engaging environments. With a passion for uniting individuals, Justin excels in orchestrating networking events that inspire collaboration and drive professional advancement. Understanding the vital role of networking in today's business realm, Justin adeptly leverages his skills to craft experiences that resonate with attendees long after the event concludes. Whether facilitating introductions, moderating discussions, or organising interactive activities, Justin's dynamic approach ensures each gathering is both enjoyable and fruitful. With a diverse background in Marketing and Recruitment & HR, Justin holds a Bachelor of Communications, Master of Business Administration, and an inaugural LGBTQIA+ Executive Fellowship from the University of Sydney. Justin is the founder of Rocket Launcher, a marketing strategy company, and the Perth Networking Club.

Steven Vo

Faculty Business Analyst
Curtin University

Steven is currently Business Analyst for the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Curtin University. Prior to working at Curtin, Steven was the Business Manager at StudyPerth for more than two years. This role required him to manage the governance of StudyPerth and lead the Sector Engagement Team. The Sector Engagement Team is responsible for supporting the WA international education sector so that WA is positioned as a destination of choice for international education. The team manages various initiatives that support advocacy, communication, and collaboration. This includes the innovation fund program, advisory/focus groups, research programs, and membership services. Having been the chair of other Young Professional bodies, Steven is passionate about supporting future leaders through the engagement and empowerment of Young Professionals.

Jocelle Co

Membership Engagement Coordinator
StudyPerth

Jocelle is the Member Engagement Coordinator at StudyPerth, working closely with WA’s education providers, Government, and Industry to raise the awareness and value of international education. She manages and leads sector engagement and collaborative industry projects that grow the pipeline of international students. Before StudyPerth, Jocelle worked at The University of Western Australia in various areas including student recruitment, equity outreach, alumni engagement, and student support. Jocelle is a strong advocate for quality education and is a leader in promoting the value of international education to the wider community in WA, through connecting and building meaningful relationships.

  3. Add any dietary or accessibility requirements (in person events only).

Once you are logged in you need to:

  1. Register yourself (following the individual registration steps).
  2. Choose another person Register additional people from your organisation by selecting register someone else.
  3. Select 'Register Someone Else' to add another person from your organisation.
  4. Enter the name in the search field and select.
  5. Select 'Save' to add them to your registration.
  6. Choose the registration options for each individual.
  7. Repeat for additional people.
  8. Proceed to checkout to complete your registration.
