Cultural inclusion is a critical component of successful Student Life for international and diverse students. The Student Life Forum embraces cultural inclusion, diving into the what, why and how to embed it within strategic planning and implementation of Student Life initiatives and frameworks. It aims to help international students feel more connected, instil a greater sense of belonging, and improve overall wellbeing.
In Part 1 of the Forum on 30 April, participants will hear from alumni and current international students as we delve into exploring Wellbeing and Mental Health, Connection and Community and practitioners share evidence based work in the areas or mental health, community and indigenous connections.
In Part 2, participants will participate in a workshop Empowering International Students: An Intercultural Approach to Turning Challenges into Opportunities.
